Soccer odds are the reason this site exists, and football is the sport whose prices every other market is measured against. The section therefore comes first and sets the language for the rest.

Prices are quoted as fractions (11/4, evens) on most bookmaker pages and as decimals on exchanges and many apps. Around them sit match odds, tipsters’ predictions, and the futsal and “soccer” wording that turns up in overseas markets.

Advertising adds two points. Whistle-to-whistle is an industry code, not law: since 1 August 2019 televised live events carry no betting ads in the window running five minutes either side of the action, before the 9pm watershed. Premier League clubs also agreed (13 April 2023) to remove gambling sponsors from matchday shirt fronts from 2026/27.
