Bet types & in-play

On a football slip the bet type decides how odds are combined, so it shapes the return as much as the prices do. Options are laid out here in the order a football punter meets them.

Singles and accumulators come first, then both teams to score, over/under, corners and booking points. After them come bet builders, cash out, in-play streaming, Asian handicap and ante-post prices, and the full-cover family whose bet counts are set: Trixie 4, Yankee 11, Heinz 57, Goliath 247.

A full-cover bet costs its unit stake multiplied by the bet count. In-play markets are run by British bookmakers; cash out is an operator’s own product, not a legal entitlement.
