Tennis, darts & cue sports

Where football prices three outcomes, an individual sport usually prices two competitors, and that difference alters the margin and the shape of the odds. The section compares the two structures.

Tennis and darts lead, with snooker, golf, table tennis, badminton and padel close behind and curling and chess as curiosities. Golf adds each-way betting, where the place terms differ from event to event and from operator to operator and are read off the market.

Britain keeps no statutory list of permitted markets. Licences are held by category (real events, virtual events, pools, intermediary) and each operator writes its own market rules, so the same fixture can carry quite different markets depending on who writes them.
